Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all trips organised by Voyee. By registering and making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A deposit is required at the time of booking and serves as official confirmation of your place. Payment plans and deadlines are clearly stated on the payment page of each trip. The deposit is non-refundable, except if the trip is cancelled by Voyee due to insufficient participants. The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule as displayed on the payment page. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your participation without refund.
2. What Is Included & Excluded
Each trip page clearly specifies what is included and excluded in the trip price. Participants are responsible for reviewing this information before booking.
3. Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Cancellation fees apply in all cases:
- Cancellation up to 90 days before departure: 50% of the total trip price
- Cancellation within 90 days before departure: 100% of the total trip price (non-refundable)
No refunds are granted in case of no-show, illness, travel delays or early departure. It is permitted to transfer your place to another participant, subject to written notification and approval by Voyee.
4. Changes by the Organisation
Voyee reserves the right to modify, reschedule or cancel a trip in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, weather conditions or insufficient participant numbers. In such cases, Voyee will offer a suitable alternative or a full or partial refund, where applicable.
5. Travel Documents & Insurance
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas and other required travel documents. All participants are required to obtain comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance. Voyee may refuse participation if proof of insurance cannot be provided.
6. Accommodation & Room Allocation
Participants will stay in shared double rooms unless stated otherwise. You may indicate a roommate preference during booking, subject to availability. If no preference is provided, Voyee will assign room arrangements.
7. Photography & Media Usage
During the trip, photos and videos may be taken by a professional photographer. Participants receive a selection of images for personal use (social media, portfolio, etc.). Copyright remains with the photographer and/or Voyee. Voyee reserves the right to use visual material featuring participants for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, advertisements and future trip communications.
8. Conduct & Responsibility
Participants are expected to behave respectfully, professionally and responsibly towards fellow participants, staff and third parties. Voyee reserves the right to exclude any participant who behaves inappropriately, disruptively or irresponsibly, without entitlement to a refund.
9. Programme Changes
Trips are group-based experiences focused on content creation, connection and personal development. Voyee reserves the right to modify or adjust the programme or its components due to force majeure, weather or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be granted if individual programme elements change or cannot take place.
10. Liability
Voyee acts as an intermediary between participants and third-party providers (hotels, airlines, transport companies, local operators, etc.). Voyee is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience caused by third parties, force majeure or personal circumstances.
11. Complaints
Complaints must be reported immediately during the trip to the local representative or tour leader. If unresolved, a formal written complaint must be submitted within 14 days after returning. Failure to do so may affect the outcome of any compensation claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
13. Financial Protection · VZR Garant
To comply with Dutch legal financial protection requirements, Voyee is affiliated with VZR Garant. Within the limits of the VZR guarantee scheme, your booking is protected against financial insolvency of Voyee. This includes refund of paid travel sums and repatriation where transport is included.
